Fernando Gimeno is a composer based in West London, working across film, games, and the stage.
His work spans independent drama, games, animation and documentaries, including The Girl with the Fork (Best Thriller Feature, New York International Film Awards) and Izzy Aman: The Joy of Drag (official selection at FILMPRIDE). Festival credits include Premios Pávez, Flatpack Festival, and the Midlands Movies Awards.
Alongside his composing work, he is an experienced guitarist who has performed internationally with artists including James Blunt, Nek, Blas Cantó, and bossa nova pioneer Jayme Marques.
Fernando holds an MMus in Composition for Film and Television from the London College of Music and a degree in Jazz Guitar from Música Creativa (Madrid). He leads the music publications catalogue at the London College of Music Examinations and lectures at Kingston University London in narrative, sound, and interactive media.
