Fernando Gimeno es un compositor y director de audio afincado en Londres, especializado en cine, videojuegos y teatro.
His work spans independent drama, games, animation and documentaries, including The Girl with the Fork (Best Thriller Feature, New York International Film Awards) and Izzy Aman: The Joy of Drag (official selection at FILMPRIDE). Festival credits include Premios Pávez, Flatpack Festival, and the Midlands Movies Awards. In 2026 he received the PRS and Amazon MGM Studios Prelude talent development bursary.
Alongside his composing work, he is an experienced guitarist who has performed internationally with artists including James Blunt, Nek, Blas Cantó, and bossa nova pioneer Jayme Marques. He’s drawn to the trope of the travelling musician, having lived and worked across the USA (New Mexico), Spain, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Indonesia, and the UK.
Fernando holds an MMus in Composition for Film and Television from the London College of Music and a degree in Jazz Guitar from Música Creativa (Madrid). He also holds a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, which led him to work in communication and event management in the arts. He currently leads of the music publications catalogue at the London College of Music Examinations and lectures at Kingston University London in sound direction for interactive media.
